Often called BPO - Business Process Outsourcing, a phrase that accurately describes what it means. This is for companies who have a specific task or tasks currently undertaken in-house but where cost, space or staff savings can be made by outsourcing it to Datapro. This might be for headcount reasons or simply because the task would be more efficiently handled in a disciplined bureau environment.
Examples of BPO services might be the inputting of data to the company's computer system or the handling and processing of UK documents or transactions such as manual credit card vouchers for PSP's - Payment Service Providers (we are PCI DSS compliant). These are finite tasks that are often poorly handled in a general office environment especially when the high costs of space and management time are taken into account. With modern communications it is now easy to process them remotely and allow staff to focus on other functions that are core to the businesses success.
These do not have to be large processes with many staff. Do not be put off by the term 'outsourcing' - in our environment it just means sensibly utilising your own staff and resources and letting us do the more mundane repetitive tasks.
