HEALTH QUEST YOGA

Health Quest Yoga is part of Health Quest (North West) established in 2003 by Maureen Brimley. Maureen is a highly experienced yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga in the North West for over 10 years. She has trained in both the UK and India and is a member of the Dru Yoga Teachers Register www.druworldwide.com ; the International Association of Yoga Therapists www.iayt.org ; and the Register of Exercise Professionals www.exerciseregister.org.

Maureen also works within the NHS, specialising in exercise for the older population and is a registered Postural Stability Instructor www.laterlifetraining.co.uk. She is also a qualified 'Extend' Exercise teacher (movement to music) www.extend.org.uk.

 

Budding Yogis offers yoga in schools, after school clubs, and within health settings to children and young adults. Yoga is also available to this age group on an individual one-to-one basis.

Time Out provides therapeutic approaches to reducing stress in the workplace and other settings using gentle movement, breathing exercises, and relaxation.
Yoga for all abilities offers regular weekly classes in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere to encourage the development of yoga in others.

Yoga is also available on an individual one-to-one basis.
Ageing Well incorporates exercise to improve postural stability with the flowing movements of Dru Yoga for the older population. Movement to music is also offered with 'Extend' exercise programmes held in Sheltered Accommodation and Residential Care Homes.
