PRIVATE TUITION:
We recommend private tuition if you have been recommended to Pilates by your physiotherapist, osteopath, chiropractor, doctor or surgeon.  Often in these cases, you will be able to join a class after a period of time, once good core stability has been achieved and your injury has been stabilised. 

Private tuition is especially recommended for those who want to get a totally personalised session, specifically designed for their body. Private sessions utilize the original Pilates equipment – Reformer, Wunda Chair,  Cadillac and Baby Arc, which provide resistance, support and feedback, allowing results to be achieved in a shorter period of time.  Private tuition is one hour in duration and is arranged depending on your schedule and the availability of the teacher.

Mat classes are recommended for those who have no serious injuries, who like the social aspect of a class environment and who can commit to a scheduled time each week.  Mat classes are run on a school term basis and are organized by ability.  Beginner classes are limited to five students to ensure that you recieve the individual attention that you need to learn proper pilates technique. Improver, Intermediate and Advanced class size increases to a maximum of ten students. 

We are now booking for our Winter term.  The term will be 11 weeks in duration and runs from 5th January to 28th March 2009, with one week off (week commencing 16th February) for half term break.  Classes are one hour in duration.

Pilates is by far the best exercise I have ever done. For several years I suffered back ache and through working on my core stability, not only have
I strengthened my back, relieving the pain, I have also improved my posture greatly, and as a result
