NO LAND Rover show would be complete without some great stuff to watch in the arena. And the 2009 LRM Show will be no exception.
NEWARK HAS two fantastic arena spaces. Dom Marder and his team – Les Roberts, David Bowyer, and Stef Povolotsky – will be lining up some real entertainment in the action arena, including LRM’s famous Twist Off ramp (now rebuilt to be the biggest in the country), extreme winching and driving demonstrations, winch knowledge from Mr Bowyer, working Land Rovers, fun and games with blindfold driving, vehicle displays and much more.
THERE WILL also throughout the day be activities such as stunt riders, and activities for children and all the family, there will be a return of the children's bike trial, a junior off-road challenge for young Toylander owners and George the LRM labrador will be awarding a prize to the friendliest and best behaved dog at the show.
IN THE concourse arena, special vehicles' whether restored, modified, or unusual, will be invited from the clubs to be shown off, along with vehicles which have been featured in the magazine throughout the year. Visitors at the show will have a chance to get up close and personal with the vehicles and have a chat to the owners. Judges will be around to choose special prize winners in both of the arenas and, of course, the best in show trade and club stands.
The highlight for one very lucky Land Rover owner will be the unveiling of this year's LRM STAR TREATMENT vehicle. Don't forget to pick up your April 2009 issue of LRM, out March 6, for your competition entry form.
GRAB A beer and a burger or an ice cream and a cup of tea and settle down to watch the action for an hour or two at the Trek Overland Sponsored Arena. Our experts on the microphone will keep you amused and informed throughout the day.

IN THE evening you might like to stroll over to our ‘cinema’ which will be showing off-road videos as darkness descends. Watch in awe as others do things to their vehicles that sane people would never dream of doing.
LRM WILL also be hosting a campers and traders potluck barbeque, and there will be a disco and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
DAY OR night, you can be assured of the best entertainment at the 2009 LRM Show.
