When we embarked on a poster promotion celebrating Portsmouth FC's escape from relegation in 2006, little did we know that one of our posters would end up on the wall of a certain Harry Redknapp.
At The News (Portsmouth's local evening newspaper) recent Sports Awards dinner, Redknapp was honoured with a lifetime achievement award to mark his achievements with the club.
So what best to give the great man? The News remembered the successful poster offer they ran in conjunction with us at PP Printing, and decided it was appropriate to present Mr R with a framed copy of the poster - which was based around a "Great Escape" theme.
Last summer we printed hundreds of the posters for The News, who promoted the offer through their newspaper. We hadn't been printing posters long at the time, and it gave our new equipment the kick start we were hoping for!
