From Catwalk to Origin

Kate's iconic Lustre Glass (Bullet) Dress, a collaboration with Fashion Designer Jacob Kimmie and modelled by Alec Wek at London Fashion Week in September 2008, is the focus of her range of couture accessories being launched at Origin 2008.

Her couture accessories collection features luxurious neck and wrist pieces, necklaces, scarves and wraps, broaches, embellished fabrics and decorative pins. The range is designed for evening, bridal and distinctive day wear that use the same luxurious materials, styles and techniques seen on the catwalk, with some new pieces being launched at Origin.

The 'Bullet' dress was one of two unique couture dresses showcased at London Fashion Week, September 2008. The 'Bullet' and 'Marble' dresses are the result of 6 months hand embellishment work. The Bullet dress consists of over 7000 hand wrapped Lustre glass and crystal tubes while the other uses over 8000 hand wrapped marbles - weighing over 4 stone in weight!
