Butlers Farmhouse has a lovely garden which Irene opens to the public under the National Gardens Scheme (the Yellow Book) in the Spring and the Summer.

We now appear in Beth Lynch's book "An Anthology of East Sussex Gardens" in aid of St Michael's Hospice, Hastings.

Butlers Farmhouse Garden is chapter 15 in this book.

The garden has also been featured both in Sussex Life and Amateur Gardening magazines in 2009, with Amateur Gardening doing a special feature on Irene’s poison Garden, an idea taken from Alnwick Castle gardens in Northumberland. See the Youtube video for a guided tour.

Butlers Farmhouse Garden will be open for the National Garden Scheme (Yellow Book) on Saturday and Sunday the 25th & 26th August from 2pm to 5pm
See our Facebook page for some more photos of the garden
